Message from the Founder

While technological progress has enhanced human life, the development of effective medicines for major diseases remains limited. For decades, Western countries have achieved only incremental breakthroughs in therapies for critical illnesses, particularly cancer, which continues to be a leading cause of suffering and reduced life expectancy worldwide.

I served for 23 years in the Department of Biochemistry and the Graduate Institute of Biochemistry at Kaohsiung Medical University, where I accumulated extensive experience in anticancer drug research. My work provided profound insights into cancer cell mechanisms and gene regulation, compelling me to translate this knowledge into practical medicines that could deliver tangible benefits to patients. This conviction led me to transition from academia into biotechnology, dedicating my career to the development of botanical new drugs for clinically challenging diseases, including cancer and disorders of the liver, gallbladder, and kidneys.

During my academic tenure, I consistently received research grants from the National Science Council and the Department of Chinese Medicine & Pharmacy, earning multiple first‑class research incentives. I was also awarded grants and academic honors from the Tulane Cancer Center in the United States. Notably, I was the first researcher globally to publish an international paper demonstrating the ability of botanical compounds to regulate and induce apoptosis in cancer cells. I supervised dozens of master’s and doctoral students, many of whom now hold positions in government, academia, and industry, and served as a reviewer for several international scientific journals.

In 2000, after securing anti‑cancer drug invention patents from both the United States and Taiwan’s Department of Health, my work was widely recognized across television, professional media, and public forums. At the same time, I was deeply moved by the urgent needs of cancer patients, reinforcing my determination to pursue effective therapies. To ensure sustained progress, I established the Plant Bioactivity and Mechanism Research Center, dedicated to advancing cancer and drug development research.

Today, the botanical new drugs developed by our company have successfully completed several human clinical trials for the treatment of skin cancer and viral warts. We are currently advancing a novel therapy for malignant ascites, with the expectation of achieving further breakthroughs in cancer treatment.

At G&E Herbal Biotechnology, we remain committed to developing high‑quality, effective botanical medicines with integrity. Every product is designed to earn the trust of patients and consumers, while positioning our brand at the forefront of the global botanical drug and healthcare markets.

At critical moments, it is the right people who step forward to do the right things.
May your brilliance ignite a light that dispels the darkness and illuminates the path ahead.
